Requirements

On Headhuntable, you can set minimum requirements for your position so you won't be flooded with hundreds of resumes from unqualified candidates.

Some of the requirements include:

Developer Status

Every developer on Headhuntable has a Developer Status (Trainee, Verified, Rockstar or Code Ninja) which represents their level based on experience and knowledge.

Select the minimum level the candidate must be in order to apply.

Code Challenge

Enter a code challenge for candidates to take. Once candidates take the code challenge the results will be attached to their candidate profile on Headhuntable.

Applicants

Once your job is published, you can view the list of applicants for the job, along with their Developer Status, Skillsets, Developer Ranking, and number of followers.

Matches

Headhuntable makes the hiring process more active by giving you a list of candidates that we believe is a good match for the job.

You can browse through the matches to contact a developer directly if they are open to a new position.

Developer Profile

When you click on an individual candidate, it will bring you to their Developer Profile. It includes detailed information about the candidate to get a good idea of their skill level.

Developer Status

  • Trainee is an entry-level developers. They won't be able to build an application on their own.
  • Verified developers are your average developers. They'll get the job done, but don't expect anything more.
  • Rockstar programmers are awesome and they know it. They can usually wear multiple hats and get the job done quickly and right.
  • Ninja Coder are the hidden gems. Ninja coder can fix those rare problems that nobody can (even Rockstars).

Stats & Rank

Each developer will have the number of followers, employer interests and their Developer Ranking, which ranks all developers on the site based on Headhuntable's unique algorithm.

Here, you can also recommend or send a message to the developer.

Work Preference

Work preference will let you know what the developer is looking for: Full time position or contract work, telecommute, etc.

Skillset

For each of the developer's skillset you will be able to view their level of knowledge based on the challenges they have taken.

Developer Overview

This is where you can view the developer's resume, including experience and education.

Sample Code

If the developer has posted his sample code, take a sneak peak to see how they write code.

Followers (Recommendations)

View other developers who have followed/recommended this developer. Usually highly desirable developers have a large following.

Reviews

Reviews are written by developers that worked with the candidate in the past. You can read the candidate's reviews here.

Challenges

A list of challenges completed by the candidate will be listed here. You can see their score as well as their answer by clicking on the detail of the challenge.

Past Projects

Headhuntable also gives you a list of projects they have worked on.

On project detail page, scroll down to see the history of the project as well as other developers involved in the project.
